Hi,
A friend of mine has just moved to wisconsin for a Bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin. There she misses Indian vegetarian food a lot. As a university student she finds going to local indian restaurants very time consuming and expensive. So if there is anyone living near the University who cooks Indian food on a regular basis, not necessarily daily but yeah. Also if somebody knows someone who lives there and who could help please let me know. She also knows how to cook and can be a helping hand too.
Thanks,
Anuj Agrawal

I hope she checks out the Indian student organizations on campus:

Students in the India Students Association may be able to help locate resources, and perhaps people in the group may want to team up and cook together:

There is also an Indian Graduate Students Association--it may be worth her while to send them an inquiry, because they may also know about resources:

There are possibly other groups on campus and off campus, but maybe this is a start.

As a vegetarian person in USA, one thing should be noted that it is almost impossible to eat outside. One should know how to cook food in order to survive. It is not only about cooking food, purchasing vegetables, spices, onions, oil, utensils and then cleaning up after cooking/eating. Best advise is to look at recipes online, youtube videos, look at other indian students how they make food. It is easy to cook, Dal, Potatoes Rice, Tortillas(chapati which are available at supermarket).
