Default Summer Day Camps

We're looking to relocate to the area beginning of June and I've been researching summer day camps. We haven't settled on an area but we'll be somewhere in a 30 min radius of Monona. I know that's vague but it's the best I can do. Both my husband and I will work full-time so camp is not a luxury but a necessity. I have a boy (10) and a girl (7). I saw the YMCA has a program; can anyone tell me about it? I'm looking for a decent camp that's not too expensive.

Check out Camp Shalom. Just as an FYI it is not religous based.

MSCR (sponsored by the school district) has a nice program that is very cost effective. After School has an amazing program that I would highly recommend. The UW Badger sport camps are amazing. The YMCA is good. I usually always did a variety of programs to switch things up.

Thanks for the info. Camp Shalom looks nice but not quite my kids are used to and I'm really trying to make the move go as smoothly as possible for them. I'll check out the school program and see what they offer.
