I have the same problem as you and I'm a 41 year old white woman. I'm afraid it is a function of our age.
I'm trying to think and I can only come up with two single, heterosexual men over 40 of any race, one of whom I'd never consider dating. He's single for a reason.
You know, I've never thought about this before. Now I'm all depressed. Actually, if you go to speed dating events and check out personal ads I'm pretty sure you could find some single men, but again, most are single for a reason after a certain age....
