Default Moving to Madison!

Well I got an apartment lined up and after some trouble getting a transfer within Wal-Mart, it seems that I got the dream transfer!

The two stores in Madison said they "were impacted by newer Wal-Mart stores and not taking trandsfers." One store Mgr said that after the personel office sounded like they wanted me. They need better communication between staff! Well they say third time's the charm.

I called the supercenter in Monona(it's closer than than the West Wal-mart) After finding out what areas I've previously worked in, they had me call back to talk to the assist. mgr over Jewelry ( I was in Jewelry for nearly 4-5 yrs). She said that she needed to confirm the system and for me to cal her next week to set up hours. Sure sounds like she aproved the transfer ... doesn't it? I will wait to celebrate until I clock in at the new store.

I will be arriving next weekend, first Sat of August by bus.
And yes, I am brining books (plus a booklight) to read on the bus, and mp3 player. Since I cant recharge it, a cd player and lots of batteries

Wish me luck!

Good luck! Hope you love it here as much as I do (though I hope you don't hate the winters as much as I do....)

Thanks. The days countdown is over and now I'm counting the hours XD
3 hours before the paratranist system takes me to the local bus stop.
4 1/2 hours before I leave on Greyhound.
29 hours before I arrive in Madison.
