Need info on the Best schools - nice areas
We are *thinking* about relocating to the Madison Area. We have young elementary age kids and we are looking for great schools. We would also like to be in a nice family friendly area with lots of amentities. Our home search would include homes priced from $350K to $450K. We prefer newer neighborhoods as apposed to older.
Where should we begin looking and where should we stay away from?

This isn't a very active forum. Not like say, Austin, which I've visited in my quest to find a warmer home.
I read and try to respond to the forum questions when I can, but I have no idea about how family friendly neighborhoods in the price range are, so I didn't reply.
I think your sarcastic response will probably ensure that no one who does have that knowledge will respond. I'm not sure how it could be misread, but if you *didn't* want to appear obnoxious you should seriously consider how easy it is to misinterpret the written word - even with emoticons.

I received three direct messages including links to old threads and I was referring to those. I'm sorry it looked like I was being sarcastic. I was being sincere. I got some really great suggestions (well - two of them were great and one was political and telling me who to vote for) but they were all appreciated. I just didn't have time to respond to them. Thank you! ~K~

Opps! Sorry. I thought you were being sarcastic about no one responding to your post.
Yeah, I guess I was a bit cranky. Again, my apologies.....
