I heard there is going to be a new professional hockey team in Madison. What is your opinion of this team?

I hope its true. It bugs me that states like Florida and Arizona have pro teams. Yes, we do have the Admirals, but I would think that Wisconsin should have an NHL or more IHL/AHL teams.

I would love to have hockey come to town again. We had something here maybe 8-10 years ago, I went to some games at the coliseum and loved it. If anyone finds out more info, please post here. I'll be watching this thread.

I heard from a from a newspaper employee that the community will vote on naming the team but the voting will be from dec 18 to jan 18. there will be some ads in newspaper soon. i was told that there is an email address if want to contact them. the email is madisonprohockey@gmail.com. just passing on the information i found out. good luck to them.
