Default Moving to Madison w/ Precocious Kindergartener

We are relocating to Madison - woohoo! I've lived in Madison off and on throughout my life, but never before with a child. DD is starting kindergarten, but there's a kicker. She reads at about a 4th grade level, so we need to find a school that will accommodate and challenge her, and still help her understand the rules behind reading and spelling. We're looking at neighborhoods in Middleton and that feed into Van Hise. Any other areas we should consider? Anyone have a similar experience who can recommend particular teachers? Thanks!

My G/T kids did well at Glenn Stephens Elementary on the west side of Madison. Back in the early part of this decade, it had G/T programs available, as well as after-school foreign-language classes.

Wow, we are in almost the exact same boat!
My husband and I will be moving to madison this summer with our 5 year old son, who will be starting kindergarten, but he too reads at a 4th grade lvl. We are also looking at middleton and vanhise area. Also since my husband will be working at the capitol, we are looking at the area around there. Any advice would help greatly.....
