LOL Everyone is entitled to their opinion...I give my cell phone voicemail # to people who need to reach me, when I request them to call me, but everyone else just treats voicemail like an instant message delivered to my head...and it just doesn't happen that way. It is infinitely annoying to have someone talk to a machine and expect me to hear their message at that moment. Email is the only surefire way to reach me, and I take months off from it pretty often :-) I enjoy the freedom!

A couple pointers in regards to driving.... Never drive down state street... Metro Busses can do it, cops can do it, you can't... Also, never drive into a transfer point... This happens many times every day some jerk will be dropping someone off or picking them up at one of the transfer points or looking for an easy way to turn around and will go through the bus transfer point... If you get caught it will be a ticket, but if you don't and you probably won't (the cops are kinda dumb, every hour it happens several times, they could make their salary tenfold in revenue just posting outside the transfer points), you will still **** of the bus drivers. Hope that helps.

Liquor stores close at 9pm, so if you need a bottle of hooch, you better get there by 8:50.
And that's all you need to know about the lobbying power of the Wisconsin Tavern League.

Unless you go to Vic Pierce in Maple Bluff. They're open until 10.

Actually I think they're open until 12.
There are some loopholes around the 9pm cutoff time but I haven't really researched what those loopholes are. I believe liquor stores that are attached to taverns and operate under a common license can sell until the tavern closes. Or something like that. At any rate, the loopholes are small enough that not many establishments feel it worth their while to jump through them, so about 98% of package liquor sales stop at 9pm. Brewpubs won't even sell you growlers after 9pm, and if you bought one earlier and you're hanging out in the pub, they'll make you take it out of the establishment before 9pm and put it in your car or whatever. For a state that practically embraces its alcohol culture, there are a couple things they are incredibly uptight about. Having a growler in a brewpub after 9pm is one of 'em.

though they did pass the law a couple of years ago that allows you to re-cork a bottle of wine and carry it out of an establishment; you didn't used to be able to do that. Which meant that if you ordered one more bottle after dinner and didn't finish it, you had to just leave it at the restaurant.
