Temp Living (Milwaukee, Madison, Sun Prairie: sublets, apartments, mortgage)

Moving to the region 11/1 and have no housing yet. I took a job in Cambria but my wife and kids can't join me until June when the kids get out of school and my wife graduates from her graduate program. I need temp housing (cheap!!! since I'm still paying a mortgage in MI). If any of you have any ideas or leads... let me know. Looking in North, northeast Madison, and anything north (Portage, Beaver Dam, Waupun...etc.).

There are may options in Waupun. We have some nice apartments which might suit your needs until the rest of your family can join you. Check out the Chamber website www.waupunchamber.com
for links to our realtors. The commute to Cambria is 20-30 minutes. Waupun has a good school system and also a private school. There is a hospital and medical clinics. In addition, we are centrally located beteen the Fox Valley, Madison & Milwaukee. Best wishes in your search.

You may find temporary sublets in Sun Prairie on Craigslist....that's about all I can recommend.

I eventually found a sublet via Craigslist, but it took a couple of weeks to find something a step up from "student housing"
