Wink Moving to Madison?
If you are moving to the Madison area, please consider the village of Marshall. It is a small community that is very friendly. Due to a job transfer, we have to leave . Therefore we have our 9 year old home up for sale. You will love it. Check out MLS #1477227 - lowest Dane Co taxes and an easy 20 minute commute.

How are the property taxes? That is one thing that keeps me second guessing about moving to WISC. How high will they keep going. I'm looking at houses in the 300's -400's and they want 6000 -7000+ a year for taxes. In a couple years it will be 10,000.???

To be honest, that is one of the reasons we are moving. We are selling our home in the low 200's & we pay 3,500. The governor is proposing a 12% increase along with 11.7 billion in new taxes. This is truely a tax hell & getting worse. I would consider a neighboring state.
