Hi you all,im new in the forum and i dont know how this works yet.OK this is my question. How is sun prairie for living?? we are,me,my wife and my daughter, she is 5 years old.We are from ibiza, spain but we live in fresno,ca right now.Ibiza is an island that is really hot in summers, more than california and im tired of it,i would like to experience the snow for a while and after a good research we decided for wisconsin.I think the madison area is a good area and we wanna try there. But i dont want to live in a major city so,i think sun prairie or middleton are good choices. Please can somebody tell me what you think?.I am really interesting in safety and raise my girl without be afraid of anything.Thankyou very much for your help,i hope sombody answer.

P.D. sorry about my english
P.D. No problem about taxes........i live in california...

I prefer Middleton over Sun Prairie. In my opinion Middleton is more upscale, is closer to good shopping, good restaurants and the downtown area (which includes the University of Wisconsin Campus) and has a better school system.

Overall WI schools are good compared to the rest of the country.

Here is a web site that lists school district rankings within WI:

Sun Prairie is more diverse if that's important to you.
