Bounce fabric softener sheets placed around camp, primarily on furniture and beds have kept our camp mouse free over the winter for 5 years. In the spring, collect the Bounce sheets and use them in the dryer at home.

Okay....y'all are gonna think I'm nuts - just as I thought a buddy of mine was last year when HE told me about this stuff.

Our lease is just outside of a small town called Fredericksburg, Texas. The (literally) tin shack was built back in the 1940's by some of the fathers and grandfathers of the guys still on the lease. This old thing is so ramshackle and worn that we were even finding COON droppings in it - and rats/mice.....they were having nightly races whether we were there or not!

I happened to mention it to a buddy that owns an RV repair shop. He proceeds to tell me about a product he uses that he tried to help some of his customers keep rodents out of their RV's (they LOVE to chew on the wiring, apparently). I was desperate enough that I bought some at the start of last season, and within a week of putting the pouches out, we were no longer seeing ANY sign of rodents or even coons.

Anyway - this stuff is call "Fresh Cab" Rodent Repellent. It's just a mix of various plants, and is fully organic. I have since found it on Amazon, and buy it there. We went up to the lease about 2 weeks ago to get it ready for the upcoming season, and there are STILL not signs of rodents, so we put out fresh pouches just to play it safe.

I was going to recommend that, but thought I would get bombarded with animals rights people. I love animals, I despise mice and rats. We have a cabin too and have the same issue. It's disgusting.
