Default Rockland

Hello,

I moved from NJ to Waldoboro, ME in 2006. Waldoboro is about 20 minutes south of Rockland. I think it is a great part of the state to live in. I found the people very nice and friendly. The weather is beautiful and there is so much to see and do.
Rockland is where we would go if we wanted to go to the movies, Wal-mart, or out to eat.
As far as jobs go it depends on what you do. My husband is a Chemical Engineer but he couldn't find a job in his field so he started his own business fixing computers and he worked for the local school district. I found that many people were self employed.
The negative I have about the coastal towns is that they get awfully busy in the summertime when many vacationers come to stay.

It's great to read your post; you sound so happy. Where in NJ did you live? I grew up in Bergen County.
