The rules change depending on where you're at. 'Defensive' driving? In Boston, the best defense is a good offense.

Drivers are much nicer in Maine. People actually stop to let me cross the street when I'm walking. When you're driving down the road one way, sometimes drivers coming the other way will "wave" to you (look carefully for one finger lifted off the steering wheel).

Hi Molly, long time no see. I think you sent me a DM way back when but I can't find it now. Just wanted to say "thanks" for thinking about me. I've missed chatting with you and everyone else and thought about you all often. I didn't mean to disappear so suddenly but things got a little rough for a while, they're getting better now.

Gee, I wonder why Mainers get the rep from being unfriendly!

Ummmm.................. How is that possible? If you've got a user name, aren't you automatically a member? Or am I missing something??

Either way, nice to know some from the south call Maine home and love it. I've told hubby if we had to choose between TN (where we are now) / WV (looking) / KY (looking) and Maine I think I'd prefer to live in Maine full time. Kind of tired of the brainlessness around where I am lately.

If you become a non-member, posts that you have made (that have not been deemed TOS violations) remain and are visible with your username, but your status is changed to 'not a member'.
