Default Nice Drives?

We are looking for suggestions on nice drives and hikes in and around the Fort Fairfield area. Out a ways from Fort would also be good, as we've now had some opportunity exploring local parks.

Furthermore, if anyone has any "don't miss" suggestions on where to take small kids during the fall season, we're up for adventure!

THANKS!

I'm sure you have already hit Goughan's Farm.....lots of fun!
There is a great farm in Florenceville NB that you and your kids might like:
Hunter Brothers Farm (http://hunterbrothers.ca/index.htm - broken link)
It's only half hour or so from Fort Fairfield and has lots of stuff for kids.
Hiking Mars Hill mountain in the fall is awesome. You can drive up the dirt road halfway to the top, then walk the rest. Or walk right up the ski trails.
Driving through the Swedish colony is really pretty (New Sweden, Stockholm, Westmanland, Woodland). But just about any drive up here is gorgeous! (You can also cross over and drive on the Canadian side of the river.........very pretty).
Have you hiked Aroostook State Park yet?
Haystack Mountain is a fairly easy hike..........great view from the top!
