Waterfront property will be cheaper downeast... Eastport,Pembroke. Pembroke has lower taxes than Eastport. Robinston and Perry are other places on the coast near both Eastport and Pembroke. My wife and I have a camp on a lake down there and we love it.

Zoning isn't bad, but we haven't had it, and still don't have it. One group wanted a police force. They seemed to not notice that the only crime in town was speeding.

Some chose to come complain to us on the planning board about what their neighbors were doing, than just go and talk to their neighbors.
I guess what I gripe about is the desire to create additional government regulation where there isn't a need for any.
