Palmyra is west of I-95 just south of Newport. Quiet, rural. Amish are around. A bit rural but not overwhelming. Route 2 goes through toward Caanan, Skowhegan. Bangor is about a 40 min. drive north. Walmart is actually in Palmyra next to the Newport line. Nothin' wrong with it, per se.
