We'll contact the Spartanburg Police and see if there's any interest.

I have spent my last 26 years in Maine because I was sentenced to life here by a judge with no sense of humor, back in Mass!

My sister got me this mug when I first came back to ME to live a couple years ago.

As far as the op's question, tell "the person" that you either pay now or pay later. Freedom isn't cheap sometimes.

Wow I love how people can just judge you like that... But thank you but I am a mother of 2 and have NEVER been in trouble with the law. Attended college and graduated and have a good job. SO please do not judge me. If that is why you are going to post just don't post if you cant be of help with the question.

When you get stopped by the police, they normally run an in state check and a national one on the information on your drivers license. If there is a warrant out for your arrest in another state, its best to assume they will put you in jail.

I got a ticket in my early 20s in Mass when I was in school there. I saw on the ticket that they had my DL # wrong, my name wrong and my DOB wrong. I had a Texas DL. I was stupid enough to think I would never hear about it again since there was no record in Mass to attach the record of this ticket to. Fast forward 15 years and it caught up with me in Texas. I had to pay the fine and show proof to Texas or have my license suspended and this was just for a traffic offense.

It doesn't make sense to not take care of something like this.

When I was in college in Texas, I worked as a dispatcher. We arrested people all the time on out of state warrants. I don't ever recall running someone's ID, it coming back with a warrant and that person walking free. Just because it was from a different state, that didn't change anything.

For a minute there, I thought I was in a different forum....

This place is nice, the people are nice. No need to be defensive.

As for the answer, if there is a warrant for an arrest, it doesn't matter where you go in the US, you will get caught. Maine is not a place to "hide out". Just do the time/pay up and be done with it. Why make it worse.
