That would have to be an "in town" vehicle in Maine, and not all towns either.... our roads would eat that!

I can think of more than one blizzard this year (which I came home from work during the height of) that I wouldn't even want to attempt to drive that vehicle in.

People have to remember that vacationland, well...isn't very "vacationlike" mid February.

Molly, there's a saying in Sweden: There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

Gasoline prices jumped another 2-3 cents overnight, now around $3.55-$3.58.

We drive an electric car, but just in the spring, summer and fall. Once winter hits, we put it away. It can't get out of town because it's a low speed vehicle, but we've used it on an offshore island as well. It gets the equivalent of 200 miles per gallon.

We also have a small pickup and an Echo that gets 43 mpg on the highway.

There are ways to get around high gas prices, but most people aren't willing to do them...yet.

But when you run out of gas, you can use the pedals.
