Do you still have snow?
There was talk of snow being in Scotland saturday which is a bit odd for March and it got me thinking whether you guys still have it or if the transition towards summer was taking place yet and it is back to green land.

Portland has almost none, I showed a house in West Falmouth yesterday with 2-3 feet in the back where the plow hadn't touched all winter.

I snowshoed in to a camp today. I estimate 30 inches on the ground in the woods and about 20 inches on the road. It was 22 above and I walked in over a mile on the crust while wearing hiking shoes. Only when I stepped off the trail did I need the snowshoes.

There's still a couple of feet in our field. Plenty in the woods too. It's melting fast though and I'll be willing to bet by next week most of my lawn will be exposed. Oh joy.... from shoveling to mowing!!

Our driveway is clear but the fields are only beginning to show spots of earth. There are still drifts and piles and the chicken tractor is still frozen to the ground on the east side. I am checking that daily, mid-afternoon, so that it can be moved as soon as both sides can be freed.

Id say I got 10" left. The last day of rain really knocked it down. The dirt filled snow banks however will probably be there for a few more weeks
