You will have to clue some of us in by pm. I'm only able to get on the computer on my off days...don't even know where to begin to figure out who. For the record, I believe Mollysmiles is keeping these boards hopping.

I always check for Molly's posts. They seem to make me smile just about every time. I love her enthusiasm for Maine.
As for the Maine forum in general. DH & I are so homesick for Maine, there are days when it actually hurts. By keeping in touch with people living there, it makes us feel better and also more determined than ever to get back home.

I like to read the Maine forum because it's the next best thing to being there. I live in the Midwest and am a very unhappy camper. With no offense to those who live in the middle of the country and love it, Maine feels like home to me.
My husband and I first visited Maine in 1999 and absolutely fell in love with the scenic beauty, the serenity, the climate, and the people. Where I live is supposed to be "the heartland", but I found the people in Maine to be so much kinder and more friendly. I read "Down East" and "Yankee" and feel homesick - although I've never lived in New England. If we could just find jobs, we'd be out of here asap.
