K says we were on River Road... but at this point I am not sure. We went to Dover-Foxcroft and around/about.

with apologies to robert frost......."Who's fields these are I think I know; his house is in the village though......." Beautiful and all for free! Beauty doesn't get used-up by the looking.

My inlaws used to live out there, 10 miles from the center of Milo. Its built up alot in the last few years, by Medford standards. We went out to their old place in Nov. The people who bought it have horses and a dog kennel.

Amazing at being so close to the moose, just think if you had a tele lens you probably could of gotten an up close and personal head shot. If only one could just touch them with a gentle hand. That would be an experenice in itself. Love the pictures.

Attempting to touch a moose is not recommended
People have ended up in the hospital with severe injuries after the moose has done the touching.

The attached were taken from a safe distance. Unfortunately no time to grab the tiny tripod I keep in the camera bag.

The moose looks healthy. That's good to see after the winter so many of them suffered through.

Is that Pega-smoose? (Pegasus + moose)????
I do enjoy seeing a nice healthy live speciman. But if I see a live one with wings I'm going to cut back on the bourbon.

Pretty stone house and garden, but OMG, the cat.....heh heh!!!!

Hey Countrylv22, you have a great one too. Have a wonderful long weekend y'all!! See ya at the parades
