The wild turkeys I talked about in my turkey hunting thread yesterday were back today. They were in the market garden. That can't be allowed to happen. I'll talk to a warden later today.

MW.. if the warden doesn't resolve your issue.. couldn't you just kill and freeze your turkey dinner a little early this year?

Boy, that's a tough one Robin. Three winters back, my buddy had a couple hundred turkeys coming in and eating his silage. He started buying cracked corn and spreading it away from his silo, but they'd blow through that and head for the silage so he called the Game Warden. The Warden showed up and determined there was a problem and issued Jay three permits!
The next morning I asked him which ones he shot.
He replied, "The three that looked the most hungry!"

Great pictures 7th! The quality of light is exceptional and the scenery beautiful.

I wish there had been a warning before the last one however....like when CNN warns that the next story might upset some viewers. The picture of the turkey was horrific for me. Truely upsetting.....enough that I can't look at the maine pictures anymore. I am not criticizing you but letting you know it was so graphic it won't soon go out of my mind.
