I tried this one through the branches of the apple tree but didn't get it. I can't figure out how to focus on the moon instead of the tree.

What do you mean, you didn't get it! That's a gorgeous shot! If you got the moon in focus, it would blur the branches. We have got to get together and compare cameras when I get there.

When I wanted to get a better camera for my job, I asked my daughter. She's an artist and photography is the medium she works in. She recommended the Nikon D60, and that's what I bought. I LOVE THAT THING! I play with it and got some beautiful stuff that you would never get with a regular camera during the holidays. With daughter's help on how to do it, I was able to get the shot of the Raider's Moon and the sunset yesterday. The D60 has an idiot setting for those who are photo challenged, and can be used by anyone at any skill level, all the way up to pro.

Um...ya...sure I did. (Is my nose growing?) I wanted to use the new camera but I can't find it! "Honey, I want a tiny camera I can stick in my pocket." Steve: Rob, where's your new camera? Me: crap... It's probably here on the diningroom table. I have seed catalogs, the laptop, my coffee cup, stacks of paperwork, receipts for sales tax so I can file by the 15th and be reimbursed, a bunched up table cloth...I'm sure it's here some where. The table's on my list today.

I had the same problem when I got my little camera. Solution- Use one of those climbers clips and clip your camera and cell phone together. That way all you have to do is dial your cell phone, and you can find your camera!

I carry an extra memory card in my camera bag. I always remember to take them out and download the pics, but I forget to put it back in the camera sometimes. A 2GB is only about twelve bucks and will hold loads of photos.
