Default Need a little summer?

On this way below zero January night, just imagine it's 75 and you're barefoot here at Popham - photo taken last summer. Summmmeeer, sounds good doesn't it?

In my town there is a spot where the water company leaves a small spray of water to keep the pipes from freezing. This is a picture of that place.

The first time I came upon this spot, I reported it to the water company and they let me know they leave that tap slightly open and adjust the amount of spray depending upon the temperature. It's really a sight to see in person as it is about 15 feet high, should have had DH stand in front of it for perspective. Here's a closeup shot of the bottom of it. (Note: My pics were taken a few years back in March as it takes most of the winter for this to build up like this.)
