wow, thanks jsb. Just being in the right place at the right time (and burst mode). Last leg of our 1st New England foliage trip and heading from Bar Harbor to Cape Cod. Saw pics of the lighthouse and wanted to see it. Rained just about all the way to Cape Cod but it broke just as we were coming up to York Beach. Wind was still a howlin' tho and I couldn't have been any happier to be there for it. What a rush! Glad you think it's worthy of enlargement, I'd send you the file if you'd like.

Great pictures FXTrader, I never get sick of looking at Mt. Katahdin, especially from the trails! We were there last weekend riding also and were lucky to have many clear days!

Yay!! I finally get to upload some of our pics from the weeks we've spent in our new hometown and state. We've had WAY too much fun! It's almost sad to see Brad starting work next week, but I guess someone has to pay the bills eventually. The month of vacation has sure been nice, though. We've been running since we got here and have seen such awesome things with our friends.

We went to Chandler's Sugar Shack with Maine Writer, her hubby and some friends from Kentucky last weekend. It was very cool!

The views from our house are just to die for! Who gets to live like this? I have the hardest time watching where I'm going when walking through the house, because I can't keep my eyes off the surrounding scenery.

These are a few shots of the beauty of a winter storm and our incredible sunrise:

When my parents visited last week, we took a day trip to Schoodic Peninsula. It was amazing! They were so awed by the beauty in the area. Mom has been texting me since she left to tell me how sad they are now that they've gotten back to Texas and how hot and muggy it is. She said the other day they're more miserable now than they were before they visited! I could relate to that sentiment. They did some not-so-serious house looking while they were here. Now they understand!

These are some of my favorite shots from the day. Our satellite internet is slower than DSL, so I won't have the patience to upload a lot. I think I'm going to have to hang out at M's to do any serious uploading. I have about 400 shots from that day, and I uploaded 58 last night - it took over an hour.

***I realized after the pics I uploaded last night that I didn't change them to 600 like M told me to, so I'm just going to link to my Webshots album. That will be MUCH quicker! Enjoy!! I believe you can view all the albums. Let me know if it doesn't work right.
