Gigglesjs, how long have you been trying, planning, dreaming of moving to Maine?
FNolan, what's your timeline for your move?

Hopefully within the next two months. Finally getting the house here on the market and the real estate company said it would sell faster if we moved out and the house was wide open. We've lived here 12 years and had collected alot of junk, altho we got rid of ALOT of it they said the house is still too cluttered to effectively show.

Oh that's beautiful. We are working on purging out the place now so when our time to move comes, it shouldn't be too bad. DH keeps teasing that it's our slave labor camp this weekend.

Hi,
we are planning on Aug. our middle daughter will be going to college up there for enviromental studies and our youngest daughter is at Boise State for Zoology and hopes to transfer to Maine for Vet. School only our oldest a son (25) will not be moving...but we all say in time he will join us in Maine he is at Portland Oregon University for Music he wants to teach middle school, he plays classical piano.
DH has a few interviews up there, so we are really keeping all of our toes and fingers crossed. We won't be Mariners but in our hearts and giving back to a wonderful State we are.
I can not be in the sun anymore due to skin cancer, my face had to be re-built, so I can't wait to be outside during the day time
Thanks for the photos, oh can't wait to get up there...
we hope to be moving my wonderful mother-in-law too, so we are bringing the whole family with us. End of summer Maine will grow by 5 more people
Can't wait to meet some of you for a fun lunch somewhere.
BTW hubby loves to hunt, when he was young he would go way up noth in Maine and really misses it.

Great shots as usual 7th. Some day I'll figure out how to do the timed exposure so I can capture the water and scene like you do
