thanks john, they are great pictures. Now how you know it going to came out like this when you were point your camera that direction. i know this if i standing the same location and point the camera the same direction it would NOT have the same result.

If you look closely, you can see a moose in the water out there. Was driving down the road when this moose was spotted out there so I stopped to snap a pic.

John... My pictures were definitely NOT in New Jersey! hehe They are from Maine. We own a house in Maine and are in the process of moving up there right now. Just waiting for settlement on our NJ house

Default Dumbest or Bravest Bird Ever

I went hiking down along Brook Cove in Lubec/Trescott and spotted this spruce grouse on the trail. I hoped I could get close enough to take a photo and to my surprise you can walk right up to these guys. They are either fearless or very, very dumb. I did not use a zoom lens to take this photo as it allowed me to get within two or three feet of it.
