The migratory honeybees that pollinate the blueberries have arrived in the Union area - actually several days ago. Most of the hives have been moved into the fields; the blueberries are just beginning to bloom.

I'm not sure where these bees came from or where they go from here. Florida-Georgia-New Jersey-Maine??? There are wild honeybees in Maine, though commercial crop growers depend on commercial beekeepers to bring in hives to ensure timely, adequate pollination.
