When pets are in snow, that's also a guarantee.

If this is the building, it's orientation to the road also suggests an old, one room school and if that building is the school, then that closet is really a side view of the front entrance perhaps?

Old school houses sometimes were set back from the road and almost on private property, depending on who first built the school, though behind a house does make one wonder some. My father had some distant relatives that lived in South Berwick and there was an abandoned school house on their farm, kind of next to and behind their barn.

I have no connection to the Glenburn area, whatsoever, however, so it's just a guess, as I say.

Thanks beltrams

You are correct. It was an old schoolhouse ( I found out from resident of the area when I posted pic on town Facebook page) . We returned and found it was not actually behind a house but next to it, so right there too.

The dogs love the snow, but the lake is their favorite
