This is hoar frost on a white pine. The movie I'm linking to is hoar frost falling from the trees this morning. I didn't get the sparkling effect, it's much prettier when you can see the sunlight reflecting on the frost.

cindychick is on a distinguished road
we just bought a house on lake near ft kent.my husband is from caribou ,we love it .but we also live in orlando it's great also.but we go up every two months or so even in winter.have the best of both. live near st.peters store ????love to hear from you up there cindy how about pic's from up county???

Default Snow Squall!

I took these two pictures of the backyard during a snow squall a few minutes ago! I love it when it snows like this. You can't beat big fluffy flakes of snow gently falling down! It looked like a Christmas card outside...too bad it didn't last...

Oh, "that thing" under the snow on the right of the picture is my 4-wheeler, I hope it doesn't get runed this winter...
