I went to Rangeley Maine twice. Absolutley one of the nicest parts of Maine I been to. Lakes, cabins, mountains, ect.... so nice!

Its the exact setting I am looking for in a small vacation home. However, there is NOTHING TO DO!!! Did I miss something the two times I was there? I do not ski either.

Well, there is a lake there to look at... or fish. I don't fish... Maybe a store with... refreshments, and a book. Course you could read at home... stay home, save money.

nothing to do?? - rings of an old saying, if you are bored, then you are probably boring!

if im on vaca in rangeley maine, they'd be so much to do, I couldnt fit it all in---all depends what you like to do- rangeley is one of the best areas in the state for seeing wildlife- in particular moose, just a slow drive around the secondary roads, most likely you will see one.
many moons ago, I stayed at the rangeley inn for a few days, then another time, I rented a camp on loon pond for 5 days, we never had enough time to do all the outdoor activities we wanted...

even if it's pouring out, give me an uncle henry's or if wi-fi is nearby- ill never be bored.

fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, kayaking, wildlife-plenty to do in rangeley maine!!

The Rangeley nightlife has probably gone all downhill since Doc Grant's closed.

I wouldn't go anywhere in Maine for a cosmopolitan style nightlife. Maybe the Old Port in Portland. Positively not Rangely. Nightlife there is listening to the loons.
