Just curious. In VT that might be Brattleboro, Burlington, Montpelier. In CA would be SF, Berkeley, Santa Cruz, Eureka. Oregon would be Eugene and Portland. In WI Madison. NC would be Asheville. Curious what towns in Maine are most in that counter culture category?

I once heard that Belfast had the highest percentage of men with beards?! Not sure if that qualifies.

Hey, I think I know a few of the -loops personally. You can add Harmony to that too. I go through those towns a lot when going to Madison to visit relatives from Dover.
