My husband and I went to the parade and it was great fun! We stood for 3 hours (that was not fun) to get front row seats and it was worth it.

So you would've been right up there on the flatbed with Pap, eh, Twisted? Could've been interesting.
I didn't make the parade, but I watched on the tube, watched the reruns that night, the next day, etc. I'm finding it's working better to watch all the events a little less each day, to kind of wind down from all of this gradually, than I think it would have been to get back completely to business as usual right away. I've got the feeling I would've crashed if I'd done the latter. Coming down gradually from the emotional intensity of the playoffs is the way to go. It's therapeutic! |
