Not tomorrow. I have a long day. I'll be working after the meeting until 7 PM when I'll be at a lecture in Bangor on the future of Maine until 10 PM. Then it's a long way up the road before I crawl in.

I could not book a flight utilizing FF miles. I think it is something to do with the Thanksgiving holiday. I am sorry, I wanted to meet y'all in person. Speaking of Thanksgiving, I wish everyone of you the best.

Just maybe for those of us that wanted to attend this meet-up but other things got in the way, we might be able to plan another in early April. "Usually" the heavy winter is over by then. But we all remember our April fool storm of 2010. I will be there in spirit. Have a great visit at the Sea Dog and don't forget to come on CD and post about it.

What a fantastic meeting!

Had a wonderful day

Thanks to everyone who attended !

I met 'S Williams' and 'Mr. S Williams', a very friendly couple.

We all had a lovely time, as NMLM regaled us with stories of Maine's past.

I had a very nice salad with walnuts and bacon on grilled chicken on top of a bed of spinach and a honey vinegar dressing. Just wonderful!

I am amazed at how tight the waitresses' wear their jeans, it would seem that they are nearly painted on these days.

I'm working down my Bangor list. #1 on the list today was our meet-up. We had a fine time with our small group. It turns out that Mrs. S. Williams is one of our stealth members who checks in every day and thoroughly enjoys our little forum. She is an expert in her field, but I'll let her comment on that if she chooses. We respect our "stealth members'" privacy.

I hope we can do one BEFORE April -- as garden season will be gearing up for me by then -- and winter (after the holiday retail madness ends) is when I have time for the most socializing.

Default Delightful!

Thank you, RHB, Forest and NMLM for your m=wonderful company at lunch!
As you know, I am a bit shy- but you made my husband and I feel so welcome!!
Lovely company, conversation and yummy food!
I recommend the Mediterranean Salad (grilled artichoke hearts and steak skewer served on salad greens, feta cheese, tomato, cucumber, greek dressing and pita chip).

This confirms my belief in how lovely our Maine neighbors are!

It sounds like you all had a great time. So glad that you did. Starwalker I'm will you and would love to go to one before April as Sea Dog is so near me. This awful cold is letting up a bit now. I haven't left the house for 5 days and it would be just as this was planned. I would love to have attended. Did Peachy make it?
