I watched a show not long ago about the hauntings in Maine. There was a book mentioned that I plan to find. The Ghosts of the Coast of Maine by Carol Schulte.
I believe in ghosts, I live on a civil war battlefield, Cedar Mtn., in Va. More than once my cats have "alerted" me to someone walking in my house. I have 4 unknown graves at the edge of my back property. I've always felt safe here. I call them my guardian ghosts.

Cats can be reliable ghost detectors.

"Coastal Ghosts and Lighthouse Lore" by William O. Thomson...He also wrote "Lighthouse Legends and Hauntings." On July 21, 2001 I was visiting Nubble Light, having some lunch at Fox's, and visiting Sohier Park and the gift shop. I had just purchased the books when a man outside spoke to me. I was thrilled to find out he was the author so of course, I asked him to sign my books.

btw, Did anyone see the "I see ghosts girl" on X Factor?

Oh great...so when they suddenly all stare at some point on the wall or ceiling and there's nothing there, and I joke it must be a ghost, oh ha ha ha, aren't I funny...it could be true?!

I'll never sleep again!

(And yes, I have black ones here.)

I am interested in ghosts and such...just not so sure I want to see or hear them.

If I was the only person in a place and heard foot steps? I would be out of there in 2 seconds.

What's funny is one of my cats, (one of the black ones), is named Casper. HA!
