They doubled my rates (we did the mail to home movies and the streaming) so I fired them, as others put it. Yes, I can get half of that for $7.99, but I don't want half. Streaming selection isn't good, movie wise and I can use Redbox for current films for like three bucks for three movies, instead of seven. They keep trying to get me to come back, but I'm not interested.

So, in a word: No.

For DVD rentals, we love Redbox. Wife orders online and I stop off at the local Walgreen's on the way home from work. Takes less than a minute. Most are outside and look like a big Coke machine.

Only problem is sometimes people that do not order online and are standing there scanning the movies trying to decide. What a great idea! They are popping up everywhere. For one dollar/DVD/day you can't go wrong. I guess they make money on the late charges if you forgeddabouddit.

So did I.

Guess we were wrong.

I get it because whatever movie I'm in the mood for is what I want to watch at that time. I may try to order what I'm in the mood for but by the time it gets here, I'm in the mood for something else. With instant watch, you can watch what you want when you want it.

(Course, that is, if they actually had a decent fricken menu in instant watch...which they do not.)
