Default Anyone still getting Netflix by mail?

We ended our Netflix by mail subscription about 6 months ago when they increased the price from $8 to $16 for a one at a time plan. Does anyone get it cheaper than that? We are not set up for the movies on computer that Netflix offers. I assumed we would have Dish network by now but just haven't ordered it yet. I really do miss the CDs by mail but hate to pay that much as we only watched about 1 a week.

We are not. We fired them during the big rate doubling fiasco.

I still pay $8 for one at a time plan. Check to be sure you're on the right plan! It's a great deal, for only 8 bucks a month--two can't go to the movie theater for that amount, and it comes right to your door....no postage.

Since you asked...here are five things explaining my Netflix subscription:
1) I don't have a TV.
2) It's my small contribution toward helping to keep rural USPS alive.
3) I'm a "streaming & 3 movies out-at-a-time member" - $23.95. Not too shabby for a monthly entertainment budget, me thinks.

4) I'm old fashioned. I like books; I like DVD's. Wait - can DVD's be considered old fashioned?

5) Maine weather: DVD's will still work if the internet sags in a storm.

We can't get Internet so we get the free tv stations and have Netflix by mail. Works for us.

American Girl, do you get cbs, nbc, abc and pbs? I've heard of Netflix, but thought that their movies are a little behind the new releases.

Yes!! Check your plan. I thought I was just getting home delivery but then my rate went up too and when I went and looked at what I was paying for it included streaming, which I never used nor would I.

I then changed the plan and now pay less for just delivery, no streaming.

Check it out!

I had the full package 3 years ago and canceled it. I just signed back up with them about 6 months ago, but we only do the instant watch stuff. I personally don't even care for the instant stuff, they have an absolutely terrible selection. The only decent thing on there are the TV shows. I don't think we will stay signed up with them much longer...especially since we have DirecTv and the DVR.
