I agree completely! I remember moving here back in 2003. When we were looking for houses, we believed the myth that Maine drivers drove slow. Yeah, not so much. Our realtor drove so fast I thought we were going to die. The slope of the road, the narrowness, the soft shoulders. It was awful. Now we've adjusted, and visitors here make us laugh when they talk about the scary roads. It is awful at first, but eventually you do get used to it.
