We had another downpour yesterday, and a lot more suds came down, but it's still all splotchy. DH is off next week, so he'll get up there and see what he can do with the sprayer and waterhose.

I never lived in a mobile home before. I found one in Quartz Hill, Ca area at a good price, but concerned about the neighborhood and the crime rate.
Is quartz Hill a mountain area? Does it have a lot of floods, hill-slide issues? Are also my concerns too.
If anyone has answers to these questions, please let me know. I'm looking to move in a month or two. I also wonder how far Quartz Hill is from Long Beach, CA. I go to school in Long Beach, but like the fact that Quartz Hill has snow, and Ikinda think that Quartz Hill is a hill/mountain area.

Not sure where that came from! We don't live in a mobile home, but look at this crap! It really looks awful! And we have some kind of greenery growing over the porch. I'm not sure about how to get rid of that either. I think it's algae.

nice house!!! id be calling that realtor over,,,,to look at the roof,,with one big WTF????
maybe the realtor,,,will pay a friend or kids to clean the rest of the roof,,
some areas look cleaner than others,,a good scrubbing should brighten the whole roof up,,,
dont be shy in calling that realtor !! (its in his/her best interest to sell the house)
i just peeked at the picture again,,the blended roof colors do grow on ya,,,
maybe i can search around belfast for a like-colored brindle roof,,make ya feel at home..

Didnt they just say that being seen naked through a window could get you on the sex offenders list?
I like the suggestion of covering the realtor with tide

Is there a website available to the general public (that would be NON realtors) where I can find the average days on the market for my area? We have har.com where all our listings are, but I'm not sure about checking out past sales stats. Anyone? Thanks!

OMG....the funniest response Ive seen in a long time! LMAO
Just out of curiousity...wouldnt that agent have been responsible for giving a homeowner really bad advice if that damaged the roof?
My agent recommended I do something about some of the lichen on my roof and I chose not too....the house still sold in about 2 months.

We did consider not messing with it at all, but there is some pretty close competition in our neighborhood, and some homes that have been on the market since Jan - granted they are problem properties for one reason or another - and we want top dollar for our house. We're just trying to do all we can to help the process along.
We actually had another downpour yesterday and there were more suds all over the ground around the house, so I'm hoping we're making more progress with each rain!
