Ugh, trolls are awful! We'll just need to get em' out of here... can anyone think of ways to do that?

Thanks for the welcomes back all, and me, shenanigans? Geez, I'm lucky I can spell it. (course, it's probably wrong). Today I worked all day, then came home and we're cleaning like crazy. Not too bad, since the house is mostly clean, but we had to set the kids' room up, and then clean my room. That's the bad room, lol. But we got our room almost done now, and so I can rest and eat something. Hubby now has that awful cold I had, and I'm all better. Sucks to be him, lol.

If you can come up with a troll-proof barrier, KAF, you can retire rich.

Some trolls are just out to cause a stir, and others just happen to have a bee in their bonnet about a subject and want to blow off steam.

You guys (and gals) keep reporting tham and the crack CD Mod Squad will send 'em back under the bridge form whence they came.

This is what happens when IF&W makes us get troll permits for the little buggers.

I miss her too... this is the time of year when many of us take a decided turn to the inward, so perhaps she is just busy on other fronts.

I hope all is well with her.

I'm over HERE, gals!!!!

(waving madly from the corner amid the wrapping paper, bubble-wrap, freezer paks, and USPS mailing boxes)

I've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest..and have barely had time to read a few threads, but since the DH-to-be is away until Sunday, I'm affording myself time this evening to sit down with a cup-o-joe and catch up with the posts, and maybe add a cent or two!

But first..
I have learned quite a bit this week and wanted to share.

I make fantasy desserts, gourmet extracts and oils for people who order them ..plus candles, beauty creams, lotions, and oils etc.
I use a lot of different and crazy ingredients, and because it's now the holiday season, everyone wants everything right NOW....so I've been running around (multiple trips) to different stores, specialty shops, mailing stores, the post office, and so on.

Amongst the chaos, here's what I've learned..

1. You can walk in and out of the post office, into the grocery store, and all the way through to the freezer section before someone is kind enough to point out the USPS First Priority sticker you have stuck on your left butt cheek.

2. If you are REALLY pressed for time looking for a damn (it has to be christmas colors, not "cosmic chartreuse"...is that even FOUND in nature??!!) gift bag, you WILL run into that one neighbor from down the road apiece - who could talk the legs off a centipede- and she will feel the need to inform you of what she just bought for her grandchildren for Christmas. All 23 of them.

3. If you enter the post office, and see there is only one person in line....don't rejoice and do your jig just yet. Chances are they need 7 money orders, are looking for the limited edition "1918 Model-T" stamps, and need to mail out these 3 overnight packages...and how do I fill out these here sticker thingys for the address?

4. If you can't find any fresh vanilla beans, or truffle oil...don't ask the stock person, it causes the "squirrely stare" syndrome mentioned in another post.

5. Do NOT go into any Christmas Tree Shop in the state from Black Friday until January 2nd. Not even if they have the last gingerbread-man cookie cutter in the whole galaxy. Ever.

6. IF you ignore lesson #4, and need to ask a store associate about something in the flyer ....and you notice they have a look on their face so ugly it would make a train take a dirt road
.....do NOT ask them anyway.
