My brother called yesterday evening, from Waterville, and didn't seem appreciative of our sending the storm in your direction. lolol
We only got 8" but it is very wet, heavy snow.
12 -18" is A LOT, so batten down the hatches and stay safe everyone! Don't forget to go outside and have fun playing

Up here they are calling for 8 - 14" tonight and tomorrow. The boys will be upset, because unless there is a wicked wind with it, they will still have school .
So y'all downstate just keep the most of it there so I can laugh tomorrow that you guys got it and we didn't. Turnabout IS fair you know. How many times have you watched the news and we got buried and the thought "Good place for it." crossed your mind. LOL

Well, up at 2:30 per doggies needing to pee, no snow. Up again at 6:30 per hubby's having to pee, and boom, snow. Took doggies out too and came back in to bed knowing it wouldn't last long. Sure enough, turned on the news, this was it... so got out of bed and into the barn to do chores. Hoped like heck we'd finish before the call came in for hubby to head out. No luck there, had to finish myself. Got done, got back in the house, he was getting dressed, got his food packed, and his coffee ready, and headed him out the door. So now I'm alone, probably for the next 24-36 hours. Ahh, the life of a landscaper/snow removers wife. It's about 8:45am here in Argyle, and about 1 1/2 inches so far I'd say... roughly. Have shoveled the barn doors twice, and the deck twice. The snowblower is hubby's thing, so hopefully I can get out if an emergency arose. We really need to find a plowdriver who wants to trade plowing for eggs, or rabbit meat, lol.

You do have more room for it up there than we do. LOL
I firmly believe in sharing.
Last report I saw said less in northern Maine. But we all know how accurate those weather reports aren't.
