So sad, my new (to be, if the deal ever goes through) town doesn't *have* a Police Department. Just one deputy contracted to be on-call for 40 hours a week. That's OK, I've never been in the habit of dialing 911 anyway...

Hey there! We were up all night again, trying to get stuff done. It's so close, though every little unfinished thing seems to stick out like a sore thumb to me right now. I'm just tired of all the debris around me. I don't like messes in my house!

It was actually shown today to an older couple, even though it's not on the market yet. It was apparently a special request after they viewed the house across the street from us. Now we're waiting to hear the feedback so we'll know how close we REALLY are! Fingers crossed!! Even if they don't want it, I do at least hope it was appealing enough to attract much more interest soon. Here's hoping!

elcarim, one marketing theme,,no one does,,but may be quite effective is..
hire a teenager,, make up some signs with a picture of your house on it,make copies, and have the teenager,,put that sign (why buy this house, i have a better one! along with a picture) on every other real estate sign,,,,within a five mile radius..

just sending you a chuckle,,,,i'll cross my fingers for ya!

If only I were awake enough to laugh....I'm getting ready to hit the shower and hit the sheets, in that order, I think. Gotta get the kids to cooperate with the program first, though.

We do not have any police either.

The Game Wardens patrol once a week, and a county sheriff's deputy comes through every few days.
