My Mom always said "Be sure your sins will find you out!" Boy, was she always right! It's always much more comfortable to be myself - don't give a flying **** who likes it or dislikes it. Anyone who can't just BE and needs to create a fantasy lifestyle needs to seek therapy. And if they aren't happy with "life as is" all they need to do is CHANGE IT! That's what I'm doing!

Sorry, but I assumed you were older than that. I thought I read in another post that your kids are grown and still living in Maine. Unless you started your family when you were 15... 3919 is still young!

Ok, Mermaid. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind but I found it! This was your post I was recalling. Least I know I'm not nuts!! All these threads do tend to run together...hard to keep up with who's who sometimes.
I have recently moved to South Florida from a small town in Maine where I'd lived my entire 48 yrs of life. When I first arrived here, I didn't even dare leave my condo. I was so afraid. Watching the local news here was and still is very traumatic for me. I raised both of my kids in Maine and wouldn't trade it for the world. They are still there. My advice would be yes, make the move and get them out of this crazy place! I love the weather here, I love living on the beach but never would I raise children here. Run while you still can!
