Molly, I just wanted to make mention of the fact that this most awesome thread you created is now the SECOND most viewed current thread on this board! Second only to "Photos of Maine", as it should be. You should be proud!!

I have been posting a lot less. In part because I have been busy and also because I had 1 warning and after recent stuff I want to be more careful of what I do say. I do read everything and try to respond with kindness and respect, staying on subject is harder,...lol,... I tend to wander a bit. I apologize if I offend anyone or screw up. I really enjoy reading the "dailies" and keeping up with peoples everyday "life in Maine".

msina, I love your posts....I'd really miss you if you weren't here I think we're all more cautious now, and we have our "off-topic" thread for the goofiness that we all love so much!! That's not to say we can't have fun in the other threads....it's just that if we start to stray we can just move it over here!!
(we're really just a bunch of chatter bugs aren't we??!!)

I have an old wagon made by Lovejoy Brothers in N> Chesterville, Maine. Can you tell me how to locate anyone who may know about this company and when it was in business. Thanks.

wow, that's really cool! I know you've probably done this, but it's one of my standby questions---have you googled it?
My other thought is does the town have a town office? Maybe someone there would know something or be able to tell you where to go for answers....(If it's a township you may not have a "town office" to call....not sure how large Chesterville is)

MsI, the place just wouldn't be the same with you! And isn't natural progression the nature of conversation? That's just the way it goes. You can only beat a dead horse for so long before you have to start feeling foolish!!

I have been doing a lot of reading, not a lot of posting.....just don't seem to have the heart for it that I did. I'm hoping that will change.....
I would like to share with all of you my dislike of something in particular that I've noticed. Sometimes, a person will post something that makes you go "what?", and for some reason you may not be able to explain, the pieces just don't seem to fit.....little things are said that make you realize, slowly, over the course of a few posts, that a person is not who they pretend to be. In the off-topic forum there was actually a thread about this, entitled something to the effect of "why do people lie on this forum".....so I'm sure it occurs in all the topics. I have to say, it's just sad when you realize that it's happening....simple little mistakes, simple things said, so that you know the person saying them is not being truthful. I don't really remember noticing this before on the Maine forum, and frankly, there's nothing we can do. It doesn't go against the TOS to pretend to be something you're not. And frankly, if one hasn't lived here for a long period of time, you may be less likely to notice the little things that just don't fit. I just wanted to take the chance to say "that's sad".
I'll try to get back to my easy-going self on here, and I know some of you are working on doing the same... KAF and Forest, I love reading the posts you guys have....it makes me smile

Molly, you rock girl! (Or maybe you are really a bald-headed 95 year old man named JimBob who lives in a camp somewhere in the Allagash)
You are right, the "attitude" here seems to have changed a little in the last couple weeks. I've been reading and lurking for months, and I've noticed a change. I think all forums go through these times though. It's sad, but it too shall pass.
