Forest- I'll be looking for work there if I can ever get my deal closed. Part time won't cut it forever but it might be good for a start, especially if it's nights.
Had a question I wanted to ask you, since I think you said you were growing 'shrooms. Question is- How do I kill *unwanted* fungus growing in the crawl-space under the house (toadstool looking things as well as some kind of odd "bloom")?

Any employee there can also pick up contracts to do vendor stock. The current vendor stockers are all grocery store employees. So they can do their shift working for one employer, then change name-tags and do a shift working for the other employer.

any fungicide will do:
Bleach,
H2O2,
Sulfur,
copper,
silver,

Thanks Forest. I must have been having a brain cramp, I should have thought of bleach myself since I use it so much, and I had recently read about using copper on the roof to prevent the growth of lichen. I wasn't aware that silver had fungicidal properties though.
Well, we got an email showing the feedback from yesterday's showing. The agent said it was by far their favorite home at this point. I assume they are still looking more, but that was a good report. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!! Arriving in Maine for Christmas is still a very real possibility! How cool would that be?

Oops, system won't let me rep you again.
I am growing garlic bulbs in one of my window sills.
As they first popped out, half of them were covered with white fuzz.
Just on a guess, I mixed ACV at a one-third ratio in a squirt bottle, and squirted the grow boxes. The fungus was instantly knocked down, and two weeks later it still has not came back.
The instant pH change by being hit with ACV seems to have killed it, without endangering the garlic.
Raises alkalinity? I was thinking of spreading lime, which also raises alkalinity...and after a quick education (courtesy of Google) on the role of ph and fungal growth leads me to believe that lime would probably be my most cost-effective and least environmentally hazardous solution to my problem.
Not true. Check the population stats. There has been some discussion of some particular areas (Lewiston?) which have had increases in immigrant populations, but, in general, characterizing the entire state of Maine as having "...a lot of Somalians..." would be incorrect.
According to all stats I've reviewed, Maine is 95+% white. Most towns we've reviewed are 97% and above. I don't consider 3-5% A LOT of anything.
