Winterport school is k-8. The kids are bused to Hampden for High School. Route 1A travels threw main street. Winterport is very small town but Bangor is 20 minutes north. There are some great houses on the market right now.

You may go to the main city-data page and look it up to see if it's listed. They have good stats on town throughout each state. It's just so small, I'm not sure if it's listed.

Winterport is one of the towns we're considering too. I just checked the city-data homepage, and there are 2 listings for Winterport, ME. One states a population of 3600 and the other has a population of 1300. Not sure why it's listed like that!?!

Not sure, either, but the Winterport we visited has to be the 1300 one. It was WAY tiny! We want "small" but that was TOO small. Quaint, but small. That would be the size town where there is a public announcement when you take a shower.
