Our indoor swimming pool is not yet completed. We hope that one day we can offer visiters to go swimming in our pool.

Our jacuzzi however is wonderful!

I am not sure if I own any swimming trunks though.

A wonderful personality, charming, a nice sense of humour, interested in all things Maine. And not terribly conservative.

If we're lucky enough to have a rental house with a yard - what I'd like most is to sit around a firepit/fireplace. If we're not we'll walk around just to catch that wonderful smell from the other houses in the neighborhood.

And after a decade of living inland - a few hours on some kind of beach with the senses filled with the ocean and bay

And pine trees...

I saw a photo once in DownEast Magazine of some firemen skiing down a hill holding a fire hose. Can't wait to see that one!

And the county/ethnic fairs! Oh my, and the food!! Also saw pictures of "log walking" I think they called it. That will be something I'd love to see DH try! And don't they still have those log sawing competitions where two men hack away at wood with a 6 foot saw and log throwing? That would be really cool to see!

Just can't wait to get back to nature and experience the things they enjoyed in the "olden days". I think I was born 100 years too late!
Up in Greenville, Moosehead Lake, we have an entire weekend of Forest Heritage Days in August that includes the game of logging. We just had the International Seaplane Fly-in, and a sled dog race each winter. Also a humongous charity snowmobile ride in Jan.
