If I had use for plums from more than two trees I'd plant more. I'm eager to see them blossom in a few years. I'll add pears and replace anything that isn't doing well next year. I have to keep reminding myself that there are only two of us at home now and I don't need 50 fruit trees.

DH just tilled the portion of the market garden that is going to be an orchard. I'll get the soil amended and trees planted tomorrow. I'm in now to get the peas, beets and spinach seeds. I love an early spring!

We picked elderberries today, from two bushes I got from FEDCO a few years ago. Today we got 4 gallons of berries.
