Cool Blogging Maine and I ain't even there yet!
Some time ago I started a "personal page" on MaineToday.com - It's what's happening and was just told that it will be featured on the front page this afternoon!

I am blogging my entire trip... starting today, with the checking out the gear part.

Y'all are welcome to follow along there; I will be blogging in detail and posting pix. And after I GET to Maine, of course, I will post the Maine pix here as well.

Oh, you don't know how much I would LOVE to do it! I have wanted to visit the Bay of Fundy since I was in elementary school... honestly... and to think I will be this close! LOL

Put in a good word with the Powers That Be on my behalf that I land a job by this time next week, and I'll be there!

I just checked their page and when they said "featured" they meant it! LOL

I am getting so excited... I am not sure if it's a good thing that I have several big projects that need working on seriously in the next few days (to ground me and keep me "here" until Thurs) or not (on account of all the stuff I still have to do.. including digging out all the places I have sent job apps to over the past few months. I plan to show up on their doorsteps just for a meet and greet...
Plus making sure I have bookmarks for everything on the laptop so I won't be "lost" when I plunk myself down in the library or coffee shop to do some "real-time" hunting.

Well today is the day! I have all the gear loaded in the truck, will go at noon to get ice for the cooler and pick up the perishables from home and if the rain holds off, top off the tank and check fluids, so that when the 5 o'clock bell rings all I have to do is HEAD NORTH!

I have both dogs at the realty office with me this morning. They watched me load stuff and BOY, were they paranoid!

Saturday I'll be in MAINE! WOO HOO!!
